In 2015, the archive was pleased to partner with the Third Coast Audio Festival for their Short Docs competition.

When figuring out how to celebrate Poetry month in 2014, the WFMT Radio Network, Studs Terkel Radio Archive collaborated with The Poetry Foundation to create a 3 episode podcast series Studs Terkel in Conversation with American Poets.

For episode 50 of the Organist, JC Gabel took a dive into the Studs Terkel Radio Archive.  For this 2015 episode, they feature audio from Studs conversations with Muhammad Ali, Zero Mostel (part 1 and part 2) and Saul Alinsky.

In 2015, the Studs Terkel Radio Archive was incorporated into the 26th Annual Rhino Festival where WFMT Radio Network and Studs Terkel Radio Archive Director Tony Macaluso and Stefan Brun directed "Terkelogues: The Snow-In-Show".

We were honored to be able to provide audio from a James Baldwin 1961 interview to be included in a conversation about African American English in the documentary Talking Black in America.

We are grateful for the many supporters who make the Studs Terkel Radio Archive possible.

Terkel’s radio show took religious belief and the spiritual dimension of life seriously (despite he himself being a non-believer) and he spoke with numerous religious leaders and questers from a wide variety of faiths and cultures.

On a journey to Denmark, Studs Terkel was intrigued to try to understand what made the Scandinavian social model different from the United States.

In addition to extended trips to China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Scandinavia and South Africa, the archive contains conversations about parts of the world.
