Drama historians and professors Dr. Emmett L. Avery of University of Washington and Dr. Arthur H. Scouten of University of Pennsylvania discuss the Restoration Comedy period of theater in England. The two served as editors of a twelve-volume collection that documents this period of theater in England. In this interview, the two discuss the cultural standards of the time, including how this period was when women were first allowed to be actors in productions. Architectural historian Robert Twombly discusses the biography “Louis Sullivan: His Life and Work.” Referred to by Studs as the architect that most symbolizes Chicago architecture, Louis Sullivan, this program outlines Sullivan’s life as a prominent architect who was one of the first to incorporate nature, or "the organic", into architecture, and who ended his life in poverty. This program includes a clip from 1956 of Frank Lloyd Wright speaking to his contemporaries, indignant, asking what took them so long to recognize Louis Sullivan and his genius in the architectural field?

In his book, "Sight and Insight," Alexander Eliot talks about having spent time in Spain and reflecting upon the masterpieces of art that he has studied and researched throughout his life. Eliot spoke of people being able to use their imagination and their mind's eye to fill in a piece of artwork if something were missing from it. Eliot explained, with one's insight, comes sight.
