Sister Betty Campbell and Father Peter Hind discuss their missionary trips to Latin America. They talk about their time in Peru, Brazil, and El Salvador and working against difficult governments to help struggling people. They also recall some of violence they witnessed or heard about during the El Salvador Civil War, including the execution of four American missionary women.

Registered nurse and activist Dorothy Granada discusses the Women’s Health Center in Mulukuku, Nicaragua. Granada discusses her history with nonviolent activism and how this inspired her to help establish a women’s health center in Nicaragua that offers assistance to low-income communities and prioritizes the incorporation of traditional healing methods used by the indigenous people of the community.
