Synopsis

Although he doesn't know for sure, Morris Haimowitz believes there 300,00 people in the Chicago metropolitan area who can not read or write. Hamimowitz's "Read Now" program is looking for anyone who can read and write to become a teacher to people that need assistance with literacy. He believes anyone can teach others to read and to write. Hammowitz's hope is that there are people out there who have extra time on their hands to assist others with literacy.
